Grease Monkey Cap Pattern Release

A few years ago I had a photographer contact me about a custom hat that she wanted to go with one of her new props. If you know me, this is what I love! She sent me a picture and we worked together through a few different designs until we got it right. What do you think?

The Grease Monkey Cap fit the picture perfect! I love how it came together and it is now a new pattern released from My Sweet Potato 3 Patterns

Grab your copy on:

The vintage look of the Grease Monkey Cap is seen in the entire design. The hat is made to sit above the ears (not cover them like most traditional crochet hats). The brim is made extra long to help create that vintage "flip" look. There are directions on where to fold the brim to get it to flip correctly. The pattern includes sizes from newborn up to adult. Here a a few views of the hat from the front and side (excuse the baby watermelon, it was the only thing that was the right size for a 12 month hat).

Just for fun, here is the original image I was sent as a sample.

Make sure you come and have some fun on with Sweet Potato 3 Patterns on Facebook. Don't miss out on new pattern releases, promotions/sales and other crochet fun!
