A couple of days before Christmas. I used to be done at least a month before but my schedule is so crazy now that doesn't happen
ReplyDeleteMy family is always so busy traveling that we celebrate AFTER Christmas. So we are ble to take advantage of those after-Christmas deals usually! Sad but true!

ReplyDeleteI used to wait until the last minute (like the day before!), but I can't anymore. I live across the ocean from my family now. So, I have to make sure I have my husband's family's presents to them before we leave town (about a week or so before Christmas), then we fly to see my parents. My mother is still so clingy, she doesn't let me out of her sight when I visit! I can't buy any presents then, so I either have to bring them with me in luggage or order them online, have them sent to their house, and make them promise not to open them!
ReplyDeleteUsually a few days before Christmas. This year my baby is due Dec. 12, so hopefully around Thanksgiving.

ReplyDeleteI try to get most of it done by September and then pick up a few remainders anywhere up to Christmas Eve.

ReplyDeleteBefore I had my daughter I was always done 2 weeks before unless it was a stocking stuffer. Now I am down to the wire if not waiting for the sales after.... How life changes!!

ReplyDeleteI'm usually done by mid-December, but this year I'm trying to make presents, so I'll be lucky if I finish before New Year's :)
ReplyDeleteI start very early like in August, if I can nowadays it's been a lot harder. But normally I'm done right after Black Friday :) I finish up every year at that time and I just LOVE going out in the crowds and searching for great sales. ReplyDeleteI usually don't finish until the middle of December. Big stuff I try to have ordered by early December; stocking stuffers and local purchases take me a little longer. This year (with a new baby!) who knows. I might be pushing Christmas Eve. ;)
