Upcyled T-shirt to Jersey Handbag - Free Pattern

I love seeing the popularity of upcycling and am inspired all the time by the posts I see on Pinterest. I recently ran across a lovely upcycled handbag that was crocheted and knew I had to try it out. Check out how gorgous it is here: Shaggy Bag Tutorial. After reading more info on it I knew I didn't have enough Jersy Knit to make it. However, I had an old XL T-shirt in a beautiful rusty red that I new I wanted to try a similar project with. But first I had to make my Jersy Yarn. I used these very helpful tutorial: T-shirt Jersey Yarn.

And now to see what I created:

I would love to share this fun pattern with each of you! It is fun and once the yarn is made it works up very quickly. This pattern is available for a free download in my Craftsy store and on Ravelry, I hope you enjoy the pattern, I would love to see your finished product, you can either email me or post to my facebook page.
