August is National Breastfeeding Awareness Month!

As a Mom of 3 kids, I really feel that Breastfeeding is wonderful and I enjoyed those first years!. For many reasons, but the obvious is the nutrients in breastmilk, the bonding that occurs between Mother/Child, the financial benefit, the ease or instant readiness, and I could keep going! I had no problem nursing in public but did use a coverup (I am quite bashful and didn't want to offend anyone).

Sometime last year I ran across a blog post from Scotti at The Oxford Family Blog, it was all about "the boob!" That is right-check out this hysterical comic...

You have to admit...this is FUNNY!!! But it gets better! Scotti took it upon herself to recreate this "boobie beanie!". She even shares the pattern for it on her blog! It seriously makes me laugh to think of seeing someone using this. I cannot imagine putting this on my babies head-but I can imagine many of my friends doing it and showing off their new found treasure!
