One of THOSE Days!

Everybody has them so you can only hope they are far and few between. However, yesterday was my turn! Let me start off by saying I love my children dearly and am so thankful that I get the opportunity to stay home with them. But, some days I really do think it would nice to have job out of the home!

The morning was going smoothly, the kids were getting along and I was productive. After lunch I laid my youngest down for a nap while the older two did "quiet time." I took this opportunity to work on a hat that needed completed so I could ship it the next morning.

After quiet time the oldest two sat down to color while I went to switch out laundry, that is when disaster struck....

My middle child had colored himself, which I was upset about since he got in trouble for this very thing the day before. I got the washrag out since it is washable marker and that is when I noticed it all over the cabinets! AGHHHH! Finally that was taken care of...no more coloring today! Then as I was making dinner I peaked in to check on them when I noticed pink yarn stretched all over the room. You guessed it, he had unravelled my entire hat! AGHHH! What a day!

  1. Happens to the best of us! I still can't get the pink nail polish of of my kitchen table bench, and my bathroom door is sporting a lovely red shade! When I crocheted more, my boys were constantly unraveling my work, or pulling the middle out of yarn skeins, which meant they were tangled FOREVER! I just repeat "I love my children, I love my children" :D

  5. OMG!!! I had one of those days too! Unfortunately we were at Target so while my child was eating salad through the unopened bag, he was also screaming because I wouldn't let him open his hot wheels car! LOL But I think marker is much worse! LOL Hope today is better! :)
