I Need to have a Productive Week!

Boy, I cannot believe that it is April and it is almost half over too! My Mom always told me when I was younger that as you get older the years seem to get shorter. At the time, I thought she was crazy. Now, I am surprised by how quickly they go, and that it does seem worse as I get older...a very scary thought!

Anyway, I need to be very productive this week! So to hold myself accountable here is my checklist which includes my last spring cleaning chores:
    • Clean dryer vent
    • Vaccum air returns
    • Wash windows inside/out
    • Go through kid's closets/take inventory
    • dust decorative items on the high shelving
    • water plants
    • vacuum furniture
    • clean out fridge
    • wipe down all appliances
    • polish kitchen cabinets
    • Weed the garden area
    • Complete 3 more photographers Packs for my etsy shop
Well, maybe it won't be so bad! I just need to check off about 2 - 3 items each day. Wish me luck, here I go!

  1. Good luck! I'm right with you; have a ton to do; unfortunately I've been slacking on my housework lately because I've been so busy; my husband has been picking up the slack! My list for April looks like this:

Cut out and make Wedding Dress (for my mom)

Cut out and make Reception Dress

Increase my inventory for Nampa Farmer's Market to 200-300

Prepare 40 samples for my Sampler Village box

Go through boys' clothes and eliminate winter things

Drink lots of coffee and don't sleep

Phew; I sure wish I could be as productive around the house are you are!

  5. I'm a list girl myself! :) I'm so much more productive that way...which explains the unproductive days of late. I've not been making my lists! :) Good luck knocking out yours. :)

  6. Thanks for the well wishes everyone! I think I (we all) need to keep our eyes open for a groupon for housecleaning! My husband even mentioned it-I said a perfect Mother's Day gift! Good Luck to all of you as well! Christine

  8. My list blew up this morning. Or at least I wanted to blow it up. ;)

Too much to do, too little time. Seems to be a common theme with many of us, doesn't it?

Good luck getting your stuff done.

  9. Amanda-I hear you! Those little ones can really rearrange your day! So far so good-I can cross off vacuuming air vents and furniture. Just so I can keep it up the rest of the week! Good Luck to you!
