During spring break week our neighbors asked us to check in on their chickens while they are gone. More or less, they wanted us to collect the eggs so they didn't pile up too much. So each afternoon we walk down the street for the "best part of the day" according to my 5 year old!

The kids were so excited at how the chickens lay the eggs and then we eat them. I guess I didn't do that great of a job teaching them where food comes from, but I will probably leave it that way!
This was such a simple task but so much fun! Plus the kids got to help out a neighbor! Everyday they ask "when do we get to go get the eggs?" What a great learning experience during spring break!
Enjoy your Wednesday everyone!

Cute pics! I think it's so sweet that "It's the best part of the day." :)
